With today's crazy schedules we all keep, its hard to unwind and relax. But by using a unique country home and garden decorating style, we can establish some peace and simplicity in our lives that seems to be lost, and with budgets crunching, decorating with simple and unique country home and garden products can relax the wallet as well.
But is it talent or a professionally taught skill that is used for country decorating and the ability to place country decorations and unique country accessories in "just the right places"?
I don't believe so!

Of course, there are benefits of having a natural talent for unique country home decorating, as for any style of home decorating for that matter. There are also clear advantages of being professionally taught to decorate.
However, the success of your home decorating projects lies in you, because your country home and garden decor is a compilation of your personality, cherished items, and simply using colors and things that you love. That's what makes it a unique country home and garden.
Your country home is just waiting to be created and admired by all of your guests. They will soon be leaving your Unique country home with several thoughts in mind...

"When can I go back?"
"How can I learn to decorate with unique country decor?"
"I want my house to look like that!"
"That was such an inviting and relaxing home!!!!"
You can tell them that a great place to start is right here.
In the home it could be as simple as a shelf with a few country jar candles and a primitive doll or two. Or maybe a nice flower arrangement in a decorative planter.
Out in the garden it could be as simple as adding a unique handcrafted fairy house and a few lawn and garden statuettes in the right places. You could also throw a etched stone or two near the entry or in the garden to display a warm welcome or to show some team spirit for that matter.

Mr. Helms, This is Jennifer, owner of http://thoughtsfromthefrontporch.blogspot.com.
I received your post on my blog about being dissatisfied with me pointing out the names of your candles. Perhaps if you would have read past the title, all the way to the bottom, I state "Gotta love the honesty~
Not sure about the scent!"
This was an article on candles that are named eloquently, yet stink. I was commending you for the honesty of the name. Guess no one can take a compliment anymore.
Good Day from the Country,
Jen
Candles are great, specially on top of elegant contemporary furniture
Dear Mr. Helms:
Recently, my sister and my mother began their own online business. They've hired me (and I work for free) to do the advertising, which has been mostly through online linking, blogs, etc. I am trying to find that "big break" for them, as I'm sure a million other working mothers’ are also attempting to do.
Over the years, I have watched my mother create the most beautiful crafts, artwork, home decor...you name it. Growing up we never had a dining room table to eat at because it was always covered with scraps of fabric, ribbons, flowers, and all of her projects.
My sister, Jennifer, has inherited my mother's talent for making beautiful works of art. Jennifer began taking pottery classes a few years back and has channeled all of her energy into creating the most beautiful fairy houses that I have ever seen. Her inspiration comes from her two little girls and their love of fairies.
Their business, CarolineAlexander, was named after Jennifer’s oldest daughter and my son, Alex. It is currently a home-based business and my sister somehow finds the time to parent her children during the day and work on her projects every night. My mother spends most of her days experimenting with this and that and has added some beautiful accessories and home décor to their collection, which consists of fairy houses, vintage ribbon belts, hand-made vintage jewelry, purses and other creative designs. We like to think of their products as whimsical with a vintage twist!
Currently, my sister and mother have limited exposure online. Every month they attend local craft fairs, carefully setting up their table, but have not been successful at these events. I believe that their products need to be marketed towards a larger audience, and I stand by my belief that their creations are far too beautiful to be missed.
Again, I am taking a chance on sending you this email thinking that maybe you will find their products as unique and creative as I do. They have a new website where you can view their inventory: www.carolinealexander.net. I would be honored if you took the time to look at the site.
If you have any marketing ideas or if you are going to be featuring home-based businesses in the future, please consider my family. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you and Happy New Year.
